PRESSING NEEDS

- Galavast (Wheeling Area) - We are currently
seeking the following makeup colors: 4 white, 4 black, 2 brown,
4 yellow, 4 green, 1 purple, 1 gold, 1 silver, 2 blue and 4 red
(these should be either pancake or cream makeup), 2 really nice dwarf
beards and 2 sets of elf ears. We're also looking for spell
packets, a fog machine and independent light sources (example: the
candles we use for Ashton and Vargus). Tabards are also needed,
and the colors we're looking for are as follows: 5 Black, 5
White, 5 Green, 5 Yellow and 5 Brown. The edges need to be sewn
to prevent fraying, and double-sided, double-colored are always
welcome. We are also offering DOUBLE
GOBLIN STAMPS for the following donations: 4 Long Swords,
4 Short Swords, 2 Long Axes, 2 Short Axes, 1 Polearm, 2 Two-Handed
Swords, 1 Mace, 3 Daggers, 2 Hammers, 1 Spear and 6 sets of

- Vargus (Columbus Area) - We are
currently looking for the following items: Make
up (brown cake makeup and green cake makeup), spell packets, alchemy
packets and arrow packets. We are also looking for Make-up Sponges, as
well as blue and yellow tabards (double-sided
with each color would be perfect - 10 of these). We are also
looking for extension cords in variety of lengths (25-ft, 50-ft and

- Ashton (Cincinnati/Dayton area) -
We are taking the following donations: DOUBLE
GOBLIN STAMPS for Arrow, Alchemy and Spell packets; elf ears; Mystic Wood Elf horns; pig
noses and bugbear ears. We're also looking for
claws and good quality longswords. How can you tell good
quality? If your PC wouldn't use it because it weighs too much,
chances are we won't consider it good quality!! Please contact Jillian

| PACKETS top |
Spell,Alchemy and/or Arrow packets can be traded in at a rate of
1
Goblin Stamp per two packets turned in. Packets must be of legal
size in order to receive credit, and those that are too small may be
rejected as well. Page 44 of the 8th Edition NERO Rule Book
gives guidelines for proper spell packet creation. |
| WEAPONS
(Please check with your local Regional Director for needs, since
weaponry will only be taken on a case-by-case basis!) top

Weapons can be donated for Goblin Stamps. All weapons should strictly
follow the safety guidelines expressed in the 8th edition rule book,
and need to be within two inches of maximum length for their size.
New weapons donated in this way will
receive the following rewards Weapons that are used or in need
of repair may be accepted in unusual circumstances, but will receive a
much smaller award.
- 50 Goblin Stamps for a Small Weapon,
Thrown Weapon, or Javelin
- 75 Goblin Stamps for a short or
long sword
with a crossguard of some sort, a spear, or a
short axe/hammer/mace
- 100 Goblin Stamps for a long axe/hammer/mace,
staff, or two-handed
sword with a crossguard.
- 150 Goblin Stamps for a two-handed
blunt, polearm, maximum size
round shield, or packet
bow.

| COSTUMING top |
We will accept any type of
costuming that is in good condition and will serve the chapter, including
(but not necessarily limited to) tabards, robes, cloaks, pants, belts,
hats, shirts, and pouches. All donated clothing must not have any
obviously out-of-period or anachronistic clasps (Velcro, etc.) or wording
to it. The following standard awards will apply:
- TABARDS, VESTS, SLEEVELESS SHIRTS
- All tabards turned in must be at least 16" wide by
64" long with a single head hole of no greater than 9"
diameter cut in the middle. The colors that we need are green,
brown, black, red, blue, white, yellow, and fur of any color.
Each tabard turned in in this way will gain a reward
of 10 Goblin Stamps. Finished tabards that are sewn and
have two plies will receive up to three times the listed award, while
tabards of exceptional quality or craftsmanship can receive an even
higher award. Vests and sleeveless tabards of decent quality
will always receive an award as a finished tabard.
- TAILORED SHIRTS OR PANTS
- These items must be designed for general use, and therefore must be
of a medium size or larger. These will receive a minimum of 30
Goblin Stamps, and can receive as much as five times this amount for
exceptional quality. Specific items made for reoccurring NPCs
can receive up to 10 times the base reward.
- CLOAKS OR ROBES
- These items are highly prized, and will receive a minimum of 60
Goblin Stamps, and can receive as much as five times this amount for
exceptional quality.
- BELTS, SASHES, OR HEADBANDS
- These can vary widely in quality. Simple cloth headbands,
sashes, or belts of a minimum 40" length and 8" width will
garner an award of 5 Goblin Stamps. Fine sashes or tailored
cloth belts can garner up to five times the base award. Heavy
leather belts or in-period looking specialty belts (weapon belts,
pouch belts, etc) can receive up to ten times the base award.
- POUCHES -
Pouches that are large enough to hold a 12 ounce can of soda pop and
still close will receive an award of 5 Goblin Stamps. Pouches of
exceptional quality can receive up to five times the listed award.

All props must look in-period and
have no sign of anachronistic materials, emblems, or wording in order to
be accepted.
- JEWELRY - jewelry can receive an
award ranging from 10 Goblin Stamps to 30, depending on the
type. Bracelets, anklets, and earrings
will receive 10 Goblin Stamps; rings, pins, pendants, small necklaces,
and other similar effects will receive 20 Goblin Stamps; necklaces,
chain belts, circlets, tiaras, and other such gear will receive 30
Goblin Stamps. exceptional pieces can possibly receive up
to five times the normal award.
- GEMS - Simple, flattened glass
beads will garner an award of 1 Goblin Stamp per 3 gems donated.
Marbles are generally not accepted. For faceted glass gems or
polished stones, the rate will generally be 1 Goblin Stamp per gem
donated. Plastic gems will receive half the listed award, while
gems of exceptional look and feel can receive up to ten times the
listed award.
- CHESTS -
Wooden or metal treasure chests that can hold at least a 12 ounce can
of soda while the lid is closed will garner an award upwards of 30
Goblin Stamps. Exceptionally crafted chests can receive up to
five times this amount, while large chests (can hold short weapon
reps) of good design can receive up to ten times the award.
- BOTTLES -
All donated bottle must be able to hold at least 1/4 ounce of
fluid. Glass or metal bottles are preferred, and plastic or
wooden bottles will receive 1/2 credit. Bottles without stoppers
will be reduced by an additional 50%. Small bottles of up to 4
ounces in size are preferred and will garner an award of 10 Goblin
Stamps each. Bottles up to 1 liter in size will garner an award
of 5 Goblin Stamps each, while those larger than one liter and up to
the size of a large wine bottle will garner 10 Goblin Stamps.
Exceptional bottles can receive an award up to five times the listed
amount.
