This small but clean lake rests within the
traditional homeland of the Sarum Highlanders.It serves as a source of water and provides some small amount of
subsistence fishing for the highlanders of the region.
It is formed by the confluence of the Alarain River from the southeast and the
Doon River from the southwest.
