  • Added the pictures from the November Lumberton event.  Be sure to check them out!

  • The Galavast events for 2004 have been booked!  There is one Outpost Event and three Galavast events.  Although there are Galavast events booked, we urge our players to keep in mind that this has no baring on whether or not Galavast will be reclaimed.  Who knows? You may be planning attacks on Galavast proper!  It's all up to you, the player!

  • We would like to welcome Karin Nalepa as our Southern West Virginia Regional Director.  Congratulations!  We would also like to welcome the newest member of the Galavast Plot Team, Traci Matson.

  • If you didn't catch the rules changes for 2004, check them out on our Special Announcements page.

  • Returning player? No problem! Check out the Local Rules Addendum, to see what we've added to make the transition back easier!

  • In the past few months we have rededicated ourselves to customer service.  And part of this is Sage Packets.  That's right everyone!  If you have one of the following Sages, please contact the War Office, and you will have them for the Ashton event, guaranteed.  Please let us know which Sage skill you have, and if it doesn't fall into one of the listed categories, don't worry, we'll get something to you!  Please contact for the following Sage skills: Arcane Materials, Extra-Planar Travel, Sage Undead Lore, Sage <Elemental Plane>, and Sage Faerie.

  • Since WAR no longer has full time office personnel, we have decided to winterize the office for this year.  As such, you will not be able to contact the office via phone.  But never fear!  If you have questions that need immediate answers and you can't wait for email, please feel free to contact Jennifer Janson at 304-233-0831.  When possible, please email the WAR Office.

  • A new Players' Survey has been added.  Be sure to check it out!!!!

  • As we have stated several times in the past few years, the ownership of NERO Ohio and NERO West Virginia are dedicated to the realization of the "one game" vision of the NERO International Officers.  In accordance with this goal, we will be eliminating all local rules play-tests on January 1, 2004.  This will significantly alter several systems, and eliminate some entirely.  We want to take the time to thank those who have participated in the testing of these systems, and we would also like to express that we feel that this is a change in the best interest of our players.  All of our systems were fully reviewed by the NERO International Rules Council, and we are abiding by their rulings in the matter and thank them for taking the time to consider our numerous proposals.  We are excited to become a 100% core chapter in the NERO International system, and look forward to many more years of great live-action gaming in the realm of Tyrra.  For a more specific preview of the changes that will be taking place, check out our Special Announcements page.

  • Added a new policy for Returning Players to the Local Rules Addendum.
