• Don't forget, Origins starts just one week from today!  We are happy to be involved with NERO International in running modules at the convention.  We have two modules scheduled for Friday (4:00 and 8:00 pm), and modules (5 in all) all day on Saturday!  For anyone who will be there to help, please let us know in advance so we have an idea of how many we'll have!  Remember, anyone that shows up to the event in costume and helps with the mods will get tons of gobbos (30 per mod) as well as a half day of NPC credit per module!  As always, we'll be giving a pull from the NPC Grab Bag to those who help clean-up at the end!  Don't forget to bring your weapons and any other gear that you have.  Not only is this a chance to help our chapter get great exposure to all sorts of new players, but it's also a great opportunity for you to interact with thousands of other role-players just like you!  In addition, you'll get to see the latest and greatest games that the industry has to offer!  It's going to be a blast, and you won't want to miss it!  We will be heading out there on Friday during the day, and we will have some limited space to take anyone that wants to tag along from the Wheeling area or anywhere in between.  Just give us a call!
• This Saturday, June 21, we will be putting out fliers in the Columbus area!  Come out and join us for a fun day of promoting NERO!  We'll be meeting around 10:00 am, and anyone that comes out to help will receive 120 Goblin Stamps for the effort - that's four whole blankets of experience, as much as two events with max-out!  We'll wrap up at 4:00 at the latest (probably earlier), so you'll be home in plenty of time for dinner.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to help grow your chapter and spread the NERO name!  For those who are interested, you can contact the Columbus Regional Director, Karin Nalepa, via e-mail, or simply call the WAR Office during Customer Service hours.  Thanks for supporting NERO Ohio, and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

• We have added a new module day event for Sunday, July 6!  The cost for this event is $10 per person for those that PC and NPC, and free for those that just NPC!  Also, we'll be running a special discount for new players at this event only, and we'll be letting any NEW PLAYERS IN FOR FREE!!!  THAT'S RIGHT, FREE OF CHARGE!!!  Have friends who have wanted to try NERO for a long time, but have complained it's too much hassle?  Not any more!  Not only can new players come out and play for free, but since this is a module day experience, they can come out and we'll supply the weapons and costuming!  That's right, we'll supply EVERY NEW PLAYER that needs it with a TABARD AND WEAPON so they can come and experience the fun and excitement that is NERO without the hassle of putting together a costume or building weapons!  Also, not only will any existing WAR member that brings a new player get into the mod day free as usual, but any player that brings two or more new players will get a FREE T-SHIRT!  The in-game details of the day are being ironed-out as we speak, but its sure to be a great time for all involved!  Keep an eye out here for more details!!!

• The Capture the Flag went off great!  Everyone seemed to have a good time despite the rain, and we got tons of great feedback that should make the next one even better!  Due to such a small turn-out and the fact that some of the folks had to leave early, the players decided to call it a draw, so everyone that was there was declared a winner!  We want to thank everyone for being great sports and for all of the great feedback!  With the success that this event had, we'll be scheduling another PvP event soon, so keep an eye out for it!
